Welcome to the Certified Healthcare Emergency Power Professional certification. Students have 60-days to complete the training and exam.
The CHEPP® certification program includes the Emergency Power Supply System (EPSS): Maintenance, Testing, and Compliance Manual, videos, practice questions, final exam, and certificate. You can download your manual below.
Throughout the course, several paragraphs are referenced for further review by the reader. The main document referenced in this program is NFPA 110, Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems, published by the National Fire Protection Association. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you obtain a copy. If you have the 2010 or newer edition of NFPA 110 that will suffice. Any differences are noted. It is also highly recommended you obtain a copy of NFPA 99, 2012 edition, as well.
Each lesson contains topics with videos. At the end of each lesson is a quiz. In order to mark the lesson complete, you must pass each quiz. Upon completing all lessons and your final exam, please return to this page or “My Account” to print your certificate.
